BONISTA Cartridge contains the active substance Teriparatide. It is a synthetic form of human Parathyroid Hormone (PTH) and belongs to a group of medicines known as Bone Formation Agents (Anabolic Osteoporosis Treatments). It is primarily used for the treatment of severe osteoporosis in postmenopausal women, men with osteoporosis, and patients with glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis who are at high risk of fractures. Teriparatide stimulates new bone formation, increases bone density, and helps reduce the risk of fractures.

BONISTA Cartridge is designed for use with a compatible injection pen device and is administered as a daily subcutaneous injection under medical supervision.

Uses of BONISTA Cartridge

  • Treatment of Severe Osteoporosis
  • Postmenopausal Osteoporosis
  • Osteoporosis in Men
  • Glucocorticoid-Induced Osteoporosis
  • Reduction of Fracture Risk
  • Improvement of Bone Mineral Density (BMD)

Therapeutic Effects of BONISTA Cartridge

BONISTA Cartridge works by stimulating osteoblasts, the cells responsible for building new bone. Unlike many osteoporosis medicines that primarily slow bone loss, Teriparatide actively promotes new bone formation, increasing bone strength and reducing fracture risk.
